The girl with the dragon tattoo film opening
Due 11/01/16

The opening
sequence to the girl with the dragon tattoo is littered with confusing emotions
and props. Such as the old man opening an envelope that contains what looks to
be a piece of artwork.
Then he
starts to cry over it as if it had a larger meaning than the audience knows.
The camera
work also creates a sad lonely type of atmosphere as the colours are very
grayscale in the scene.
The next
shot is of a photo with a lady on it with writing over the top saying “the girl
with the dragon tattoo” and then cuts to a shot of what looks like a lady,
which could be this lady with the dragon tattoo although you never see his/her
face so you are not able to identify them.
After the
scene of them walking it cuts to her/him in a room which looks like it could be
a courtroom but it is not explained what she/he is there for or how it would
involve them.
Throughout
this hole sequence the background music becomes louder and then drops off at the
end and has no dialogue the whole way through.
